Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an inquisitive, cooperative, and playful bunch!
These first graders love and take pride in their classroom environment as we have worked hard in creating a joyful, organized space that enables their learning.
This class is eager to learn and thrive with high structure and routines. They love read alouds and math games on the rug.
Our school has been serving the children and families of the Boyle Heights community for over 20 years. We are an LAUSD neighborhood public school.
My Project
Our class is in dire need of a new set or working headphones!
In our classroom, we enjoy and benefit from blended learning, where computer programs help differentiate instruction for us.
Our current headphones have seen better days and we currently don't have enough headphones for everyone in the class.
We are currently working on computer programs for both reading and math. Students also earn educational game time through good behavior and other incentive programs in the classroom.
We love computer time and having new headphones will make a huge impact. Please help fund our project so every classmate can have their own set of working headphones!
