My Students

My students attend a Title I school in Alaska. Many of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Our students are wonderful and I want to ensure that the students in my class have what they need when they return to in person instruction.

My Project

Our school district has provided one to one iPads for each student. However, not every child has access to a pair of headphones. I am hoping that by providing each child with a pair of headphones they will be able to use the technology to its fullest. We need these because technology is noisy and can become very distracting to others.

We use a variety of learning programs such as IXL, Waterford and Reading A-Z.

By having a pair of headphones for each child, others in the room will be able to focus on their learning tasks.
