Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is full of 21st century learners. We want to learn with technology!
Our class is made up of a very diverse set of learners.
70% of the class are English language learners. 100% of the students are on free lunch. Many students do not have access to technology at home. School is where they get the exposure they need to become learners in today's technology-driven world. Technology is very exciting and interesting to students. I want to make sure my students love technology as much as I do! Please help us in reaching our goals.
My Project
My students need headphones to use with their iPads. Our school was fortunate enough to receive a grant from Apple. Each student has their own iPad. We were given Apple earbuds, but many are broken or tangled. We need replacement headphones to help us excel. The headphones I chose include a built in microphone. This microphone really increases the complexity level of our learning. By having the microphone the students can do projects that require them to talk! Increasing student academic talk, students will really be able to soar. We can do projects on Keynote or iMovie to show our learning.
