Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Special Education teacher in a low income, high poverty neighborhood in San Antonio Texas in a Title I district. I provide direct special education services to the students in my campus.
My student all have different cognitive needs who depend on small group instruction and differentiate accommodations.
The kids are inquisitive and energetic bunch who encourage me to strive in creating a fun learning environment. My goal is to do everything I can to help them become actively engaged in learning every day.
My Project
My students will use these headphones while using the computers, iPads, and at the Listening Center. My students have a hard time focusing on their Math or Reading assignments on the computer. They prefer using lighter headphones over the heavier and bulkier ones. Headphones are very important because they help students focus better and block out other distracting noises.
Quality headphones help students focus better and improve their work.
My students will love the bright colors and quality of these new headphones. These headphones will replace some of the headphones that have broken and some that are too bulky and uncomfortable.
