I teach Kindergarten students and my students are mostly from low-income families.
All my students come in daily full of energy and ready to learn!!
They are curious, inquisitive, active, creative and love to be challenged.
They like to try new things and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically. They truly inspire me!
My students need to continue to practice skills taught in whole groups and small groups. In this pandemic era, students have lost a lot of learning time and I want to maximize all the instructional time while my students are in the classroom.
I record myself reading aloud and also record lessons on skills that my students will need to continue to practice.
Headphones are needed for them to listen and focus on these lessons for effectiveness. Without headphones, it gets noisy and students become distracted, unfocused and unable to pay attention to what they are listening to.
