This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a great group of hard working First Graders. Our school is a Title 1 school located in a wonderful neighborhood in Las Vegas, NV. We have approximately 650 students enrolled at our K-5 school.

I want every student of mine to succeed!

Everyday my first graders come to school with huge hearts and smiles. They are so excited to learn new things.

Many of my students do not have the technology we use at school at home. With the help of this projected being fully funded, my students will succeed!

My Project

For each student in my classroom to have their own pair of headphones will be incredible! It can get pretty loud when all of the students are on the iPads, laptops, or desktops without the use of individual headphones.

With individual headphones, my students will be able to enjoy the listening center, which will help with their reading skills.

These headphones will greatly improve the ability for my students to concentrate more and in turn will help with their comprehension skills. The headphones will be used throughout the day everyday when we use technology for Reading, Math, Phonics, Science and Social Studies.
