My Students

I am blessed with 28 of the most wonderful little humans! My 28 10-year-olds fill our little portable with ideas, excitement, stories, laughter and JOY. Coming to school to see their bright faces is the highlight of each day. They are all so excited to work together, and accomplish new goals and dreams. As the grade level math teacher, I get to teach two math classes; each 28 students. They LOVE to use technology in the classroom and are motivated by new and exciting methods of learning.

My Project

We are looking to add some headphones to our routine in 5th grade! My students could benefit from headphones that they could connect to their ipads for better hearing and focus! Technology use + Engagement = Success.

It is crucial for our class to use the iPads and technology that we have access to, BUT when we use our apps they are super loud and distracting!

When you have a class of 28 students in a small portable classroom, and 7 iPads making noise at once during centers it can cause some stress on students. Having headphones that we can use during centers would alleviate any lack of focus and increase engagement of learning.
