Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a class of 31 amazing individuals who are eager and ready to learn. We have been given the amazing opportunity of 1:1 tablets for every student. We are made up of a variety of learners who are pushed by their desire to learn.
They love to work on their tablets for projects, research, and fun.
We use the tablets for Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science. We have wonderful online resources that we use daily that allow our students to enhance their language and math skills. Learning in our classroom is fun and engaging!
My Project
In our class, we are fortunate enough to have tablets for every student! This is extremely beneficial for our individualized lessons and learning. However, with individualized learning comes the need for students to have their own headphones with their tablets. We are able to do many things with our tablets; including research projects and our online resources that help with ELA and Math.
Having individual headphones for every student will help engage them deeper in their learning.
By allowing the students to have new, durable headphones, and a manageable way to store them, the students can take pride in their learning. By donating to my class, you are ensuring that every student will have headphones that will last throughout the year and beyond.
You are giving them the ability to watch videos to learn information for their research projects. You are giving them the opportunity to hear all the questions asked on their online ELA site. You are helping the English Language Learners hear a story before we read it as a class. You are giving my quick learners the chance to move forward in lessons and pursue their own learning. You are helping give my students the boost they need to succeed.
