My Students

I have 15-20 students in my classroom. We are located in a very rural, low economic area. Most of my students live in housing and educational experiences are limited. I want to give my students the best educational experience possible and help them find a love of learning.

My Project

This project can help my students by allowing them access to their own individual pair of headphones to use when listening to stories or taking tests that require text to speech. Currently, many of my students do not have their own headphones. My students and I would be very grateful to receive this gift. Headphones would be a daily tool used in my classroom if this project is funded. Students enjoy listening to stories on their ipads, and headphones allow them to have the choice of listening to stories. I believe this will instill a life-long appreciation and love of reading.
