Headphones and Nourishment!

Help me give my students a class set of headphones as well as disposable earbuds to succeed in my classroom. Snacks are also a big part of my students' success. How can anyone learn on an empty stomach?

My Students

I am a mild/moderate Special Education teacher to amazing 9th graders. A lot of them come to school without eating breakfast and need snacks to get them through the day. We are a diverse school with many incomes represented. My students are hard working kiddos who some just have had a rough start in life. Food seems to help them focus and have the brain power to work a little harder. My students and I are also in need of a good classroom set of headphones. Students in my classroom are making up assignments on their Chromebook and often are watching instructional videos. Please consider supplying my classroom with the snacks to help these students during the day. Thank you!

My Project

I am asking for a classroom set of headphones and disposable earbuds to help my students succeed in my classroom. My classroom is a special needs classroom and many students have anxieties and social-emotional trauma due to Covid. My students use headphones to listen to music while they work to help them to decompress, relax and regroup. This also helps them to finish their work independently. I am also asking for healthy snacks so my students can learn without feeling hungry. Brain food is so important for the students' success.
