My Project

We have a lot of students who would benefit from having headphones. As a special education provider I am consistently having teachers and students ask for different types of headphones to help with regulation. I work in a K-8 school, so it would be nice to have some headphones that are less conspicuous for the middle school students.

I’m proud that students are realizing they don’t have to be overstimulated, and that they are learning to advocate for their needs.

I also want to mainstream the use of tools like headphones for regulation, so the special education students don’t feel singled out for utilizing their tools.
