Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My first grade students are exceptional. They band together and help one another as much as possible. I have a room full of helpers even the ones that struggle and all areas. The students want to succeed and providing them with the right equipment can make all the difference. First grade is when we build the foundations and all content areas. Please help my students reach their full potential so they can properly build their foundational skills and all areas.
My Project
My students come to class with headphones that easily break and cut in and out. They struggle doing their learning programs such as Lexia and dreambox. They need to listen to electronic books, listen to weekly tests, and district kds tests. It would benefit my students to have properly working headphones that did not break easily and that they are able to use on a regular basis. Empower my students to learn and this new age of Technology. In addition to the headphones, the camera will be used to document the learning in the classroom. Students will take pictures of their assignments and projects. These pictures will be displayed for parents on Class Dojo and will be used as part of their writing. Students will glue the pictures to construction paper and attach their writing about the given assignment. The laptop will be used as a station for AR which is a reading program.
