My Students

It is a priority for me as an educator to meet the needs of every student who walks through our doors. My classroom is full of energy, collaboration, and differentiated activities that often require the use of technology and interactive digital resources. Students are engaged in learning and problem solving on a daily basis as well as teambuilding and cross-curricular activities throughout the year.

Communication and collaboration are imperative and important components of learning that go on in my classroom environment every day.

I want to provide the environment that will best support my students’ needs.

This project will allow my students to engage with digital media at their own pace. This will aid in collaboration among peers, engagement, motivation, and focus. It will better allow collaboration, improve focus, and provide opportunities for self directed learning.

My Project

In our digital literacy and communications class, students will engage with multimedia materials on a daily basis. Having the proper equipment for this is a necessity. Engaging with digital materials with video and interactives that require sound are a must for this environment.

This project will fund a class set of headphones for my students to use throughout the course of the academic year.

Having access to this equipment will enhance the learning environment for all students and allow for a broader impact on students as they self-pace their learning rather than direct instruction for the whole group to facilitate sound components.
