We are located in an urban area of New Jersey which has been described by the media as "the poorest city in the US" and "the most dangerous city in America." A full 96% of our students are classified as "economically disadvantaged," 16% have special needs.
My sixteen students in my class are incredible students who truly enjoy coming to school on a daily basis.
My school is in an urban area in one of the poorest cities in America. It breaks my heart that so many of these fantastic students do not have access (at home) to many of their own games and "extras." It is my job, as their teacher, to ensure that I prepare my students for their future.

We are an extremely active group of students who deserve every opportunity in the world possible. I want to make our classroom an enjoyable room and a place where my students feel comfortable while learning and have every opportunity as the rest of the children in surrounding school districts.

My Project
My students need headphones in order to concentrate during all curriculum based computer educational activities.
These headphones will definitely make a difference in the lives of my students , as they will enable my class to concentrate during all computer based curriculum learning activities.
My students are a tremendously wonderful group of students who want to excel and want to be successful in life. It is difficult at times to concentrate during computer based programs, where many of my students read several years below grade level. Headphones will allow my students to "listen," learn and concentrate throughout the year during all academic activities.
