My students need two Chromebooks in order to learn to identify letters, numbers, and shapes.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have a classroom of 20 four and five-year-olds. Most of our students are from low-income areas and do not have a lot of literacy-related materials in their homes to assist them with learning to read.
The computers take them into a new space in time of learning.
This molds the learning. I feel, as their first teacher, we should prepare them to the best of our ability.
We're a Title I school in the city of Germantown, MD.
My students love activities to make learning ABCs and numbers fun, and I feel that learning through fun helps them to remember what they have learned. We also love listening to stories and watch video clips about different subject matters relates to what we are learning.
Currently, we have two computers.
We use a 20 min rotation on the computer where they can use learning games for downtime or rewards. With two additional Chromebooks, more students will have the opportunity to join the rotation.
With the help from this project, each student will have the opportunity to become familiar with technology and all the great advantages it can have in learning.
