This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a school with a diverse student population. Our students come to school with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and home support. The one thing that will always bring the students together is their school spirit and love of learning.

My students want to come to school because of the safe, caring, and loving environment we have created.

They are excited to see their friends, theirs teachers, and to see what they will be doing for the day.

My Project

In my classroom, we are working our way to becoming a one-to-one classroom with the use of technology. We are increasing our use of computers, laptops, and iPads, but still, need basics like headphones to create a more productive working environment.

My students do not always have headphones or the resources to get headphones but need them to be able to focus more on their work.

While in small groups with me students become distracted by the computers or even at the computer they become distracted with other noises. The twelve headphones that I am requesting would make concentrating and working for everyone much easier.
