This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school serves students grades Pre-K through 5th. My school is located in an area of Arkansas that could be considered in need of repairs. More than 90% of our students are on a free or reduced rate lunch program.
Because money is in short supply, I am always looking for ways to help bring exciting new materials into the classroom.
My students have limited experiences, so projects like these help me make learning come to life. These experiences will help my students develop a love for learning.
My Project
My students have a class set of iPads to be used to enhance learning, but often times we cannot use them because our headphones are broken! Our current headphones are worn and many of the cords have become stripped! We need some to use safely as we learn using technology!
My students are also always so active, so the clipboards I am requesting will allow them to move about the room and still have a hard surface to write on.
These materials will help my students receive the maximum benefit from our iPads and learning centers. Please help this project come to life!
