My students need furniture tables appropriate to their age, my students need more books for our guided reading table, and chair sacks that will allow us to have space to walk freely and safely in class.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love learning new things everyday. Despite their living conditions and lack of life essential material in their daily routines, they get to my class ready to learn and happy to be there each day.
Most, if not all of my students come from a low income house hold with parents that work all day, which given them little or no time to spend with their child.
Our school provides us as much as possible, but we still need many resources to better our learning opportunities.
My Project
My students need a classroom that is safe and welcoming. Our school is very old and the classrooms are very small, with two different groups of students is difficult to keep the class organize and have space. The furniture and chair sacks will allow us to have space in our classroom and my students will be able to feel comfortable and more importantly safe while in the class.
The guided reading books are essential and we are in a deficit of books in our class.
The books will help us have rigorous reading lessons with the appropriate reading level to meet each students needs when learning to read.
