I currently have 20 four-year-old students who are all on target developmentally and very excited to learn and progress in school.
Each of the students is developmentally on-target for their age.
The community we live in is supportive and will try to support the students in many ways; however, funding can be a roadblock at times. Each of the students in my classroom is eager to learn new skills and being able to get up and move is always very motivating for them.
My Project
These materials will offer students more opportunities to develop mathematical concepts. Preschoolers will be able to select and build with blocks in the block area of the classroom. They will have enough blocks for more than one child to play and build a bigger structures.
By having a variety of resources the kids will have more than one way that they can be successful.
Finished block construction promotes positive self esteem in young children and builds their self confidence and independence. They will be able to use the multiple hands on accessories to play with their block construction building.
