My Students

My students range from kindergarten to fifth grade. They are full of excitement, love and laughter. During physical education classes they work hard and enjoy playing new games and learn from one another. It is my goal to get them excited about living a happy and healthy life now and in the future. Currently I get to see my students twice a week for physical education class and it would be awesome to surprise them with some new equipment. They truly are awesome kids!

My Project

I will use the footballs and volleyballs to introduce my students to new sports and teach them lifelong skills they can use in the future. Currently football and volleyball are short units the students are learning because of the lack and the quality of the current equipment we have. With this new equipment the students will learn the proper sills necessary to play modified and team games. K through 2 students will focus on skills and modified games, while 3 - 5 will learn skills and play team games. In learning these new sports my hope is they may play outside with their friends or possibly join a sports team.
