First grade is not typically the type of place you'd see a heavy integration of educational technology. But in our room, we set the bar high and thrive on innovation. We still use traditional methods of learning, but we enhance those practices with tools from today.
My students walk into my class young and eager, but when they leave they are energized and prepared.
They develop a passion for learning and become creative real-world problem solvers. Eventually, they become the teacher and assist other classmates.
The Q Ball is a throwable wireless microphone made to take a beating! It’s made from light foam, allowing the students to pass it easily. The microphone automatically shuts off while in flight to avoid any unwanted thuds or bumps, so no need to stress if a student drops it. With the Q Ball I can keep my students engaged and active in their learning, all in a fun way! Just ask a question and toss the Q Ball to those raising their hand. Their voice will be projected over the classroom speakers. Then, toss it to the next person. With the Q Ball, any student can have their voice heard within a few seconds!
