My classroom is a Head Start class normally with 20 children. Right now I have only 12. The children come from different cultures, backgrounds, and families. I am working on building a room that is safe and where they can learn. I want the room to be exciting and a fun place to learn.
The children in my room are excited to be at school, and I want it to be a positive learning experience for them.
I am trying to nurture a love of learning. It is important to have materials they can use and play with. The early years are so important for their learning, and I want them to love learning about new things and enjoy coming to school.
My Project
I want to provide the children in my room many types of books. The materials I ordered will help them to learn about books. The rebus books will help them to learn to read and follow along a sentence. They will be able to learn to read.
The Class Library has a variety of books that the children will enjoy reading and looking at the pictures.
Children first learn by looking at pictures and guessing what is happening. They will explore and immerse themselves in the books and will learn as they enjoy them.
