Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing Kindergarteners that love to learn, be kind, and make a positive impact on others. We are a Title I school that struggles getting the supplies needed, but my students use their creativity to help find new and different ways to learn.
Each day, my students come to school ready to learn.
Each day provides them with an opportunity to grow their brains and souls. My goal, as their teacher, is to prepare them not only for first grade, but for the world beyond. I want them to embark on a journey of being lifelong learners.
My Project
Your donations will help my students have comfortable chairs in our classroom. Our chairs are broken and very uncomfortable for my students. Learning happens when children are comfortable and engaged in learning. These chairs will help my students sit comfortably and focus on daily learning and complete their work.
Most of our day is spent sitting and working.
Having my students in comfortable, reliable furniture will help them focus and eliminate risk of injury in unstable chairs. It is difficult for the district and my school to purchase expensive furniture for each class, I ask for your support to help give my students the materials and furniture that is in desperate need.
