Help me give my students many memorable learning experiences with hands on activities involved in hatching chicks and learning about the life cycle of chicks as well as butterflies and ladybugs.
I am team-teaching this year and have 42 wonderful Kindergarten kiddos that I get to call mine. I teach Reading and Social Studies and am loving having so many children to teach and watch grow this year. I get to incorporate bits of Science as well as Math into my day as all core subjects intertwine so nicely in Kindergarten.
My children thrive on center based activities and and hands on activities that bring learning to life!
The children this year are so excited about learning and their faces just light up when doing hands on activities that they can take ownership of. These children take pride in helping each other and really enjoy being together and learning as a class family.
My Project
With this project I will be able to bring hands on activities into my classroom through the use of the incubator and the ladybug and butterfly habitats. These supplies will make learning come to life!
