My Students

I love kindergarten because I get to build the school foundation for the kiddos! I never know what a kiddo will say or do in reaction to a lesson, but it usually is very entertaining. I have 2 classes, since I'm kindergarten, and I love that I get to know so many kiddos and families. I teach is a diverse area that has a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.

My Project

I have been hatching ducks and chicks for the past 10 years in my classroom. I am looking to get an incubator that is digital which will make the process much smoother. The kiddos love learning and watching these babies grow. The heat bulbs will keep the babies warm and the food will help them grow.

This experience will give kiddos a first-hand look at living things and will understand the needs of living things.

These babies will also help grow my kiddos as writers as they will write each day about their observations.
