Hello! I am a fifth grade teacher. My students are the sweetest, kindest kids you will ever hear about. They are all hard working students and are dedicated to making our classroom a safe and respectful learning environment. My kids are in a Title 1 school, which means that the vast majority of our kids are a part of the free and reduced lunch program. Students have a difficult time with buying their own supplies, but that never stops them from coming into my classroom with a smile on their face. My students are extremely unique, in that I have many English Language learners as well as students who have specific learning needs.
Our school is small, with only 2-3 classrooms per grade level.
A school this size is nice for it allows all the kids to know one another and foster lasting relationships. We are a small school in a large neighborhood, filled with both affluent and poverty stricken families. The goal our students have outlined is to be "upstanders," stop bullying on our campus and make the year a fun and loving year.
This project will provide my students with the Harry Potter books. This will allow them to follow along as we read the book.
Thank you so much for all of your love and support.
This means so much to the kids and they are so excited to start this novel.
The bounch balls are for specific students in class. They are to help with distractions and the bouncy ball allows them to better focus their attention on learning, instead of moving. Thank you again and we, the class and myself, appreciate you taking the time and everything that you have done to make our classroom dream come true.
