This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Albert Hill Harp Students are the best! They have enthusiasm, love to play the harp and are fun to teach.

We are a Title 1 school in a diverse population and are striving to make our community better for all.

My Project

The Special edition Harpsicle will help with increasing our harp inventory so that each harp student will have a harp at home to practice and learn on. Since there are more students than available harps, not all have been able to fully participate in class. Even one more harp will give one more student that chance.

Reading is paramount for success in and out of school.

I have a cozy reading nook in our classroom where students spend time reading about music, musicians, and all things music. Literacy is important for continued success in life.
