Harnessing Creative Minds

Help me give my students a hands on experience using a 3D printer and 3D models.

My Project

Unique, chatty, hardworking, respectful, loving...all words that come to mind when describing my students. There are two things that definitely stand out this year. The first is the fact that I have 15 girls and only 6 boys. The second is that more than half my class comes from a different culture. Both of these factors add new opportunities to enhance the needs of my students. One of these opportunities is introducing my students to the concept and experience of 3D Printing.

By fundraising for a 3D printer, my students will be able to experience active and hands-on learning while bringing their ideas to life!

Students will be able to work towards printing projects by being on task, turning in their assignments, participating, and coming to school. The headphones that included are to replace a class set that has been worn out over the years. My classroom has 1:1 technology and these headphones will allow students to keep their sound on their laptops without distracting those around them.
