Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have created a classroom store where our kids receive tickets for showing positive behaviors in their learning. We are in need of more prizes at this point in the year.

Our kids can cash in their tickets or get money from our Fab Friday Wheel Spinning.

Children earn tickets and have a safe place to hold them. When they are ready, they have an opportunity to “go shopping” on FAB Fridays. They will choose what they want to buy by saving up their tickets for a prize of their choice. They can save all their money for the different types of candy we have in this project like Sour Patch, Pixie Stix, Chips, Jolly Ranchers and more.

They are learning while they earn and will use financial literacy skills for real work success in earning and spending wisely. They are also learning about making change and budgeting!
