My Students

The best part of teaching Kindergarten is their curiosity, their uniqueness, and their learning styles. Each student is different. Some learn from what they hear and some learn from what they speak. Some went to Preschool and others have not. Some have been away from family and others have not. Many of my students have not had the opportunity to learn through hands on play, and I hope to provide this. I love providing a safe environment for each little kinder to find their unique learning style, voice, and personality.

The best part of being a Kindergarten Teacher is watching these little people grow, learn, and develop both academically and social/emotionally!

My Project

Brush, Brush, Brush, your Teeth, Brush them everyday....Keep those sugar bugs away! Dental health month is approaching in February, and it is a great opportunity to stress the importance of your teeth for your students and the parents as well. I will purchase fun and engaging activities off of Teachers Pay Teachers so students will have hands on experience teaching them why brushing our teeth is important, how to do it (by actually receiving a toothbrush and brushing in class), and that we need our teeth forever. Along with brushing teeth, fine motor skills will be practiced and reinforced. Using play, animals, and imagination, kids will become future dentist!
