Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is made up of 17 amazing learners. They come to class ready to learn despite the obstacles they face prior to stepping foot in the classroom.

We are a Title I school, and almost all of my students are English language learners.

My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. My students work hard each and every day. Unfortunately, they need supplies and experiences that I can’t provide on my own. This includes art materials.

My Project

Help bring art and creativity into my first grade classroom! My students love to paint and complete different types of art projects. They need more opportunities to use their imagination and express themselves using different mediums. I'm requesting paper, glue, and a variety of art crafts to complete throughout the year

I am also requesting special art projects that will be used as classroom rewards.

This includes sand art and a rock decorating kit.

By helping to fund this project, you will be helping to bring visual arts into the classroom. You will also be helping to build our classroom community!
