My Students

My students are creative, eager learners that love to learn by doing. We are a diverse group of neighborhood kids, and we love to work together.

We are scientists, and our school has recently started a STEAM lab in which we like to make new discoveries and learn how things work.

We have every type of family represented in our classroom, and we love to have many ways to approach a problem and understand the diverse world all around us.

My Project

My students need Hokki stools to help them focus-during direct instruction, individual work time and in group work situations. The Hokki stool strenthens the core muscles and allows the students to fidget and move without disrupting others.

Many times in the school day, students tip over in traditional chairs.

Hokki stools are safer than traditional chairs that tips over. Hokki stools are compact and are easy to move and use in different groupings throughout the school day.

Many students do not function as well if they do not have the option to move. I want to give all of my students and optimal seating choice!
