My students are an active group who need a variety of ways to learn and a varied sensory diet. The students within my classroom live in a poverty-stricken, farming community. The students are coming to me from many backgrounds, and they all have varying needs.
The students are striving to be successful community members by learning valuable skills within the classroom and meeting their own needs.
The students will be building their social and emotional skills within their first-grade year to encourage their further development.
My Project
The hand sanitizer, clorox wipes, Febreze, snacks, and drinks will help to provide a clean and healthy classroom environment for my students. The majority of the students in our school come in hungry and although we have breakfast provided by the school many get the hunger pains throughout the day!
The cleaning materials and snacks will assure that the students are healthy and ready for their learning day!
The snacks will make sure the students are in school without feeling hungry and are able to further focus on their school work. The cleaning materials will help ensure that students have a sanitized classroom to return to each day! This year seems to be the worst for illnesses!
