This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After talking about potential community service projects in my 6th-grade advisory, my students were insistent on doing a class service project to benefit children with cancer. With a room full of artists and creators I knew they would think of something creative.

My students want to create hats to make children battling cancer happy, hence coining the name of our project, "Happy Hats".

We will use this variety of craft supplies to make these crafty, unique, and happy hats come to life.

Please help to fund a project that helps kids help kids!
