My Students
Do you remember what it was like to read your first Dr. Seuss book? How exciting and fun it was to see what adventures lay ahead of the characters in the book?
I have 27 students this year. Our school would be considered middle class. My students are creative and very social this year. They love to talk and share their ideas with each other. Reading is something they all enjoy doing and we spend the first 30 minutes of each day doing just that.
My Project
The celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday is March 2nd. Every year, I wish that I had a lot of Dr. Seuss's books for my students to read and enjoy on this special day. The addition of these books to my class library will fulfill this dream. I would like to have birthday party of sorts for Dr. Seuss and have my students enjoy his very creative imagination!
Money is hard to come by in education, even for books. The addition of these books to my classroom will bring much joy and happiness for many years to come. Dr. Seuss is an author that students love to read over and over again!!
