I teach an awesome group of twenty kindergarten students. I have a very diverse group of personalities and backgrounds that includes English language learners, students with special needs, and students from low socioeconomic families. But, most importantly, they are awesome kids who are eager to learn.
My students are bursting with enthusiasm and excitement for learning, and they love coming to school.
Kindergarten is such an important year because students are blank slates eager to soak up every bit of knowledge they can! It is an exciting year, and I love working with my students!
My Project
We have recently received grant funding for new iPads for the classroom, but there is just one problem, the students were not provided with headphones to listen and work with the apps. Our administration is encouraging us to provide headphones for the new technology, as students will need to listen to the apps to increase their academic achievement.
New headphones will help our students learn reading and math content with exciting new forms of technology!
Students will be more engaged in centers, and they will be prepared to use more advanced types of technology as they go into first grade.
