Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonders! I teach in the border community of Brownsville, Texas. We are located at the very tip of Texas. The majority of our student population are English Language Learners. Many come from low socioeconomic households and are considered at risk.
Despite the different challenges they face, my students thrive on creative, interactive and meaningful learning experiences.
My students are hard-working children who are excited about their learning. They inspire me and each other on a daily basis.
My Project
With these beautiful headphones my students will be able to use their ipad in the technology center without disturbing the rest of the class during tests.
Being Mickey Mouse’s recent bday our class hopes he can somehow send these over for their ears!
These headphones are perfect since they are cordless and cannot get tangled. We have had many headphones that do not last since we buy them at our local dollar tree. We hope we can get funded for these beats to be used in our technology center to enhance their science, math, and reading skills. With our upcoming Staar exam my students need all the resources they can get in order to perform well.
