My Students

I am a very lucky teacher to have such an awesome group of third graders. I teach ELA to two different groups of students. My students are tomorrow's leaders in the making. They have a hunger for learning and questioning.

My students are leaders and role models to other students in the school.

They also take these skills outside into the real world. They know the importance of being good friends and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. My students come from all different backgrounds and home lives.

They all receive free breakfast and lunch. They are an amazing group of kids that deserve the best education and classroom materials, no matter their situations outside of school. I want school to be a safe zone, a place all students want to come and learn.

My Project

Please help me give my students an equal opportunity for learning. Our intervention program is online, and it is a struggle for all students to do it at the same time without headphones. The videos play out in the classroom and the noise is hard to determine where it is coming from. With your help, my students will all have their own headphones. They will be able to learn together at the same time and not distract one another. My students will also have a place to keep them and organize them. Headphones play an important role for my students and their learning. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
