I absolutely love my students for so many reasons. Every morning as I greet my students they make me smile and feel such excitement for the day.
My students are such loving, active, motivated and hardworking little ones who are always ready for another day of learning and fun.
They come from a variety of backgrounds with different strengths. My students range from strong readers to non readers, advanced writers to beginning writers. One thing my students all havel in common is the love of technology.
Because a majority of my students have little access to computers outside of the classroom, I want to give them many opportunities to use technology in my class which can enhance their learning in in academic areas.
My Project
Being that we are finally 1 to 1 with Chromebooks, I am excited to incorporate technology as much as possible into my class. In order to allow my students to enhance their learning without distraction each student needs a pair of headphones.
Every student having their own pair of headphones will also allow me to differentiate my teaching as well as have students working on different things at different times to meet their academic needs.
My students love programs like Raz-Kids, Storyline Online, Xtra Math and Starfall.
All these opportunities can only happen if each student has a pair of headphones. The possibilities are endless!
