Our school is very special. We are a small school that has a very high free or reduced-price lunch rate. We are very close and look after each other. Our students are cared about, valued, and exposed to how great learning can be. Because of the size of our school, we are all very close and look out for each other.
Our students may not always have the encouragement at home they need to know that education is important, which is why we are there for them.
We love them and want the best for them and want to encourage them to do their best no matter what they are doing. They come to school knowing this, and it is such an encouragement to them.
My Project
My students will use the materials daily to increase letter recognition and the ability to form the letters. This program is designed to help early learners begin to develop those fine-motor skills and develop handwriting skills. Many of my students do not practice at home as technology has taken over. Many of them are doing more screen time than they are actually writing or drawing.
This project will help begin the path to writing for my students.
Teaching them their letters and how to form them correctly will give them a skill they will use the rest of their life.
