My Project

My second grade students are excited to be writers! They are discovering how they can share their ideas with the world through the power of text. They love to write creatively, inserting humor and surprise into their stories. Publishing and sharing their work with the class is a highlight of the day!

COVID-19 school closures had a huge impact on handwriting instruction!

My students struggle with letter formation, number formation, and proper pencil grip. Writing is a challenging and exhausting task because they have not learned how to effectively hold a pencil and write both letters and numbers.

These Learning Without Tears materials will make a huge difference in helping students become more confident, successful writers!
