My students need a handwashing station. Our classroom does not have any plumbing and we have been unable to do many art projects because of this. We also need to wash hands to keep germs away!

My Students
First grade is an absolutely amazing year in a child's education! There is so much magic that happens during the days at school, and kids learn an incredible amount in a short time.
We love art projects and painting!
Our classroom is a bright, sunny place to learn, full of love and smiles. We love to read, do math and science, and create art masterpieces.
We are in a rural K-8 school in Montana. Our school is a wonderful place to learn and grow. We constantly strive to go above and beyond in all we do.
My Project
Our classroom doesn't have plumbing, so we have no place to wash our hands to stop the spread of germs. We also have been unable to do many art projects, especially painting, because we have no way to clean up.
A handwashing station will help keep us healthy, and allow us to do fun, messy art projects!
Washing hands is an important skill to teach young children. Illnesses spread throughout our classroom quickly and we've had many absences this year. Being able to wash our hands will help keep kids healthy and at school.
The health and safety of our students is the most important aspect of this, and being able to do those art projects is a wonderful added benefit.
