Kindergarten students are excited about school and learning how to read! We all know students are more excited to learn when an activity is relevant, fun, and hands-on!
In my class, I would like to offer exciting, engaging, hands-on activities for my students to use to facilitate their learning.
My students will be from different educational backgrounds. Kindergarten students should have many different options to choose from when they are learning the alphabet, sight words and when they are reading.
My Project
Kindergarten students love learning through games. The activities I have chosen from Lakeshore will be fun and educational for my students. The phonemic awareness instant learning center offers various activities that can be used to practice different skills. The word building blocks will be a hands-on way for students to have fun building sight words.
I want my students to enjoy reading, so giving them the opportunity to practice phonics and phonemic awareness through games will help them learn, and have fun at the same time!
It also gives them a chance to interact with other classmates and choose different activities that interest them.
