My students need Osmos! We recently received a grant from our local tribe to purchase 10 iPads per classroom in grades k-2. Osmo is an accessory for iPads that incorporates hands-on learning activities!

My Students

My kindergartners are excited to learn! For some this is their first school experience and we are working hard to prepare all of them for a lifetime of learning.

My kindergarteners are from a rural community where we have no stop lights, farming is huge and the small town feel is what makes it home.

Our school system is what keeps our town busy, from football games on Friday nights, drive your tractor to school day, to the hometown parade on 4th of July!

My Project

Osmo is a hands-on addition to an iPad.

Our classroom was given 10 iPads from our local tribe and I want to create a learning environment where we can use technology to increase our mathematical and reading skills.

Osmo allows children to work independently and collaboratively within their own academic level.

With Osmos you can build word lists.

I plan to create word list of the 45 sight words our students need to master by the end of the year! With Osmo you can also work on math fact fluency, use shapes to create new shapes, and race a partner in number identification.
