Hands-On Success in Kindergarten

My Students

My students are bright, enthusiastic kindergartners who have embraced the school experience despite many challenges related to Covid-19. For many of them, a traditional preschool experience was not possible, and this was their first in-person school experience. They come to school every day with curiosity, excitement, and a desire to learn! I am working diligently to bridge the gap to help every student be prepared for first grade and foster a genuine love of learning! These classroom materials were thoughtfully selected to help meet their various learning styles and successfully address the skills they need to enter first grade.

My Project

The books, Magna-Tiles, block set, and other supplies I request will be used in reading centers, math centers, indoor recess centers, and writing centers. Each item was thoughtfully chosen to fulfill a need in our current kindergarten supplies.

By donating to this project, you will be helping me bridge the gap for my students who are missing crucial kindergarten-level skills.

For many students, preschool was either taught through online programs or in their homes. These supplies will help students increase their reading, math, science, and writing skills in a hands-on way. We will fill those learning gaps and help them soar in kindergarten and enter first grade confident and prepared. Thank you for considering our project!
