Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach transitional kindergarten. My students are filled with enthusiasm to learn new things. At the beginning of the year, all of my students are four years old. Our active day is a balance between large group instruction, stories, songs, hands-on interactions, and dramatic play. All of my students are learning how to be students.
Many of my students are just learning English and need experiences to help them learn new vocabulary and language skills.
I try to provide them with activities and materials that are developmentally appropriate. I want them to love learning and coming to school.
My Project
Students are never too young to start developing their skills in science, technology, and engineering. Please help our classroom to get an awesome science activity table to use for STEM activities.
This table is specifically designed to help young students discover magnetism, magnification, and one's reflection.
It will act as an area to explore and make scientific discoveries. It has built-in storage so students can return and continue where they left off. Students will have a special place in the classroom where they can go and find fun hands-on science activities to work on during their exploration center time.
