My students are very happy and loving kids that love to please people. I currently have 21 third grade students. They love coming to school and enjoying the environment we have created.
We use a lot of positive reinforcement to encourage them to be their best.
We reward them with Owl Bucks that they can later use to "purchase" items at our Owl Buck Store.
Our students represent a diverse population. We have many students that speak Spanish, Greek, Russian, and of course English. Please help our students get better organized this school year. Help them get organized.
It is incredible to me how children today have limited knowledge about the world we live in. I teach third grade and sometimes when I ask my students if they have traveled out of our state, they have no clue. They start naming cities within our state. When asked to name states they name countries. When asked to name countries they name states or continents. When asked to name continents, they name countries or states. My point is that our students have limited knowledge of the world we live in.
The Globe and educational Social Studies games will help enrich the lessons taught in class.
They will also allow the students to process the information they have just acquired. With these Social Studies resources, I plan on sparking an interest in my students to help them receive the knowledge they need.
We also need an anchor chart holder to better organize the anchor charts used in class. Instead of having the anchor charts rolled and put away, we can have them accessible on the chart holder.
