Help me give my students the ability to engage hands on experiences in various areas of the classroom by using tangles/fidgets, flexible seating, weighted toys, and more!
From building tracks out of blocks in the block area, cooking up some delicious soup in the kitchen, and making new friends outside, to trying new things, this is just a glimpse into a day of a preschooler.
My classroom is part of a state funded program and made up of children with parents who struggle to afford the rich preschool environment that all children deserve.
Most students do not have access to learning materials to them outside of environment that they deserve.

My Project
As a second year teacher, I'm still finding materials that are needed in my classroom to help my children have the best school experience. With tangles, weighted toys, flexible seating, and other fidgets, this will help improve not only their fine-motor skills, but help with emotional needs as well.
By providing various hands-on materials, which includes sensory items, it will help foster a learning environment that supports every child classroom now and those to come.
With these items it will help with self regulation and help those students who might need a sensory break as these items will be available to everyone in the classroom.
