Hands-On Science

Help me give my students a variety of hands-on experiences. After a year of learning virtually, they deserve it.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am grateful to experience another teaching year. Due to COVID-19, my students learned in a virtual space. This year, my students are energetic and excited about learning in a physical space. The Pandemic didn't diminish their inquiry and eagerness to collaborate with their peers and staff. I love the fact that my students are engaged in science by sharing and expressing their prior scientific knowledge.

My Project

The art of science equates to actually doing science. Students can learn concepts but the learning quadruples when students are able to apply the concepts to a hands-on experience. Physical science, the course, covers a variety of concepts from Matter to Waves. Having pH strips, materials to conduct various chemical reactions and simulated software.

As a teacher, it is so exciting to hear students say, "Oh, now I understand".

The chances of hearing this statement increases when science classrooms are equipped with the necessary resources and materials. We appreciate your support!
