My Students

I have taught for 14 years and have recently moved to a new school division and a new grade level. I have always provided hands on experiences for my students in science and need knex so my students can build their own simple and compound machines. Kids need hands on experiences.

My students are a great bunch of kids and we have a wonderful school.

However we don't have the resources to purchase hands on materials and desperately need them to allow our students to interact and explore science concepts. Having these supplies will grab the interest and curiosity of my students.

My Project

My students will work in small groups to build simple machines and learn how they work and how they make life easier for everyone. It will also allow them to see how simple machines combine to make compound machines that allow us to do and make things that wouldn't be possible without them.

The donation of these Knex will improve my classroom by having my student interacting with science concepts instead of worksheets.

It will allow my students to see how simple and compound machines work to improve the lives of everyone. My students will use the Knex to build simple machines and see how they work. They will combine those simple machines to make compound machines and see how they work. Its important for students to have hand on experiences with science.
